This documentary is a love story. A love story between two people, two cultures, and a love for the spiritual journey offered by Tibetan Buddhism. Phil Bathols is an Australian and Sonam Ongmu Denzonpa is Sikkimese. Telling the story of their wedding in the Himalayas, this enchanting program is also a meditation on love, marriage and Buddhism. It is an intimate story about a Sikkimese Buddhist family and their relationship with the Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism and its leader, His Holiness the 17th Karmapa.
